Nursery
This week up in the baby room we have been exploring different ways to make sounds with a variety of different instruments, we explored the bells, maracas and xylophone and we took turns with our peers who joined in with our musical activity!
We also explored making our own pumpkin patch paintings, we cut apples in half and used orange and green paint to replicate pumpkins. We even used real pumpkins to roll around on the paper to make marks!
The children also had fun using different types of pasta in the tuff tray, they used spaghetti to thread pieces of pasta onto them, they concentrated whilst doing this and did a great job using their fine motor skills!

Kindergarten
This week in Kindergarten, we started the week off with pumpkin play! The children used mallets and golf tees to make holes and scooped out the insides.
The children enjoyed exploring the front garden on their bikes. They loved using their senses to investigate the flowers and enjoyed smelling them.
We also enjoyed the giant spider web that appeared in our tuff tray! The children used their fine motor skills to use the tweezers to pick up the spiders.

Pre-School
This week in Pre-School we really enjoyed exploring the jelly bath and the textures of the jelly! We used different moulds to make lots of different shapes and measuring containers to pour from one container to the other.
In the front garden, we went on a bug hunt! We used our magnifying glasses to find bugs around our garden. The children found wiggly worms and snails, then afterwards we went back inside to read the story ‘Superworm!’
We also looked at the different letters found in our names, the children then had to find a toy that started with the first letter of their name, great job Pre-School!
