This week in Flax Bourton, we have been exploring sensory paint! We added foam and baby oil to the paints, giving them a different texture that we scooped up in our fingers and dabbed onto paper!
We have also spent lots of time in the lower gardens, crawling through the tunnels, and riding bikes! We were also fascinated by the nature area, looking closely at the bug hotel to see if we have any guests!
Back inside we went to visit the interactive whiteboard and play some games! We tried playing the piano, noticing how the sounds changed pitch and speed depending on our movements, and completed lots of digital jigsaw puzzles!

This week in the over twos we have wrapped up warm to spent lots of time outside in our new gardens! We particularly enjoyed the mud kitchen this week, filling and emptying buckets of water and observing how gravity helps them move down the pipes to the drain! We also explored the wooden scales, discussing with the grown ups which side will tip downwards and why!
Back inside some of us have been taking part in yoga, listening carefully to the adults instructions as we stretched, bent and moved slowly to the music!
At the art table we have been doing some pasta threading, helping to paint it bright beautiful colours first and then carefully pulling string through each piece to make colourful jewellery!
